About CDCP

What is the Canadian Dental Care Plan?

The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is a federal government program that provides dental coverage to eligible Canadians who don't have access to private dental insurance.

The plan is administered by Sun Life on behalf of Health Canada and covers a range of preventive and restorative dental services at no cost or reduced cost depending on your income.

As a CDCP-participating provider, Woodbend Dental bills Sun Life directly on your behalf — no upfront payment required for covered services, and any co-payment is handled transparently.
